What Does this MRI Scan Result Mean?

I had an MRI, results C4-5 mild diffuse disk bulge c5-6 , with mild central stenosis c6-7 same as 5 -6 c5-6 had bilatral uncovertabral oseophytes & mild bilateral stenosis?? what does this mean?? thanks

Thanks for writing to HCM.
The MRI report what you have posted tells that you are having mild to moderate degree of 'cervical spondylosis'. This is due to the findings that you have a disc bulge with mild central stenosis with osteophytes. Osteophyte is a bony projection associated with the degeneration of cartilage at joints, which would compress the nearby nerve fibres leading to pain.
You need to consult Orthopedician in this regard for proper advise and management. You need not worry much as at this stge, if you take appropriate measures in the form of drugs, cervical exercise, use of cervical collar and physiotherapy, you could prevent further damage.
